to the Mosport Arrive and Drive Series:
On behalf of Mosport International Karting I would like to welcome
you to the Mosport Rookie Series. The series is a professionally
organizes racing series for the rookie beginners in a program where
everything is provided including the F1K High Performance Racing
Kart.
We are looking for new race fans (on experience required) of all
age groups to race in the Mosport Rookie Arrive and Drive Series.
Our youth racing series is for 8 to 12 years of age, Teen series
is 13 to 18 years of age, and Adult series is for 19 years plus.
Racing is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis with which means you race
once every two weeks starting in April and finishing in October.
Banquet to follow. There are six schedules
to choose from. Events consist of 1 Practice Session, 1 Qualifying,
1 Pre-Final Race and 1 Final Race. Schedule and Rules and Regulations

review.
Everything is provided including the high performance racing kart,
track time, damages, fuel, tires, pit crew, mechanic, licensing
and training. Speeds up to 50 M.P.H on a 1.5 Kilometer Road Course
Racetrack.
Membership is $99.99. The cost per event is $55.00 including all
inclusive with no hidden fees. All members will be issued a 2010
Photo Racing License for $10.00 that must be presented at registration
at each and every practice event or racing event in 2010.
Helmets are provided and all members are required to purchase a
neck/helmet support for $39.99. This is a mandatory piece of safety
equipment.
The series provides everything required for you to go racing with
the understanding that all participants must dress for the weather
with no exposed skin. Running shoes, long pants (i.e. jeans- no
track pants), gloves (any type of glove) and a thick-lined jacket
must be worn (i.e. jean or leather-no hooded jackets.
Participants must take safely very seriously and understand that
this is a professional racing program for beginners of all ages.
The F1K High Performance karts are provided with a 6.5 Honda Racing
Engine for all racing class except for the Youth where they race
5.5 Honda Racing Engines.
